Established in 2007, the Center for General Education is responsible for promoting general education at NTNU. The Center's director is responsible for the overall supervision of general education-related matters and is assisted by 3 faculty members and 6 administrative staff members on the planning and operation of general education programs and services. The Center emphasizes on the importance of holistic development of each individual, including the pursuit of subjectivity and the active citizenship.
